A typical kitchen takes 5 to 7 working days. Doors and drawer fronts are removed and sprayed off site while the boxes are prepped and sprayed in place. You will be without doors for most of that week, but the kitchen stays usable.
Will painted cabinets chip or peel?
Not when they are prepped correctly. We degrease, scuff sand, prime with a bonding primer and spray a catalyzed or urethane-modified enamel that cures hard. That is the difference between a factory-style finish and a brushed latex job that chips in a year. Workmanship is covered by our 5-year guarantee.
Can you paint oak or laminate cabinets?
Yes. Oak grain can be filled for a smooth look or left visible under paint. Laminate and thermofoil need a specific bonding primer, which we use. We tell you what finish to expect from your cabinet material at the estimate.
